The Ravenna Michigan American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces for many decades. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. We want to especially welcome and invite veterans and their families that have served in recent years.  Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. American Legion Department Service Officer Hours at Hall

American Legion Post 297 would like to remind you that Department Service Officer Courtney Thurber is available to help veterans in applying for benefits, getting a copy of your DD214, and more.  She will also answer any questions you may have.  

Courtney holds office hours every Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Post 297's hall.  All veterans are welcome. No appointment is necessary. You can contact her at (517) 582-1678 or  cthurber@michiganlegion.org  Keep in mind she is only working here on Wednesdays.

Stop in at the hall and say hello. We’ll have the coffee pot on and a good time of comraderie.

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILTY in the American Legion is based on honorable service with the U. S. Armed Forces between:

(April 6, 1917 -November 11, 1918) World War I
(December 7, 1941 - To Be Determined) All other war eras to include the Cold War.
